Female GP
Dr Komal Thakkar completed her GP training in UK in 2008 and moved to Perth in 2012. She is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of GP’s.
Dr Thakkar holds a Professional Certificate of Dermoscopy and Professional and Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine (HealthCert). She is currently training towards a Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine.
Dr Thakkar offers skin-related consultations and has special interest in Skin cancer prevention, detection and management. She performs full body molescan/ skin checks using high quality Dermlite dermoscope with Dermengine Artificial Intelligence. She offers non-surgical treatment options (cryotherapy and topical treatments) for pre-malignant skin lesions, biopsies for suspicious lesions and excisions.

Dr. Tarun Yamdagni has been practising General Dermatology, Skin Cancer Medicine, Surgery, and Dermoscopy since 2014.
Dr. Yamdagni completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Topiwala National Medical College in 2002. He became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the UK in 2008 and obtained his Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2012.

He was awarded a scholarship for achieving outstanding results (96.5%) in the Fellowship Objective Structured Clinical Examination in 2023. This examination represents the pinnacle and final step in the College Education pathway, requiring a strong commitment to further study, assessment, and skin cancer clinical practice.

Was a hospital pharmacist working in about Australia then decided to become a doctor. I’ve completed extra training in Dermatology, Women’s Health and Lifestyle Medicine. I’m happy to help contraception and can insert/remove IUDs and Implanon NXT rods. (I’ll need to double check WA legislation but I am happy to do Medical TOPs in NSW) I’m also interested in Mental Health. I have completed my Focused Psychological Strategies training.

Dr Jogewar completed her MBBS and MD in clinical Microbiology in India and then moved to Australia. She worked for many years in the different hospitals and various specialties in WA. Recently working in Joondalup Emergency.
Also worked as psychiatry registrar for 2 years in Joondalup mental health unit. She is passionate about providing holistic care to her patients. She has keen interest in General and Geriatric medicine, Pediatrics and Psychiatry. Dr. Jogewar is a dedicated mother of 2.

Tim studied medicine at NUI Galway, Ireland and graduated in 2010. After basic training he moved to London in 2013 to develop his interest in research at King’s College Hospital. He has presented internationally with this group and has written several peer reviewed papers and book chapters.
Tim subsequently undertook further core medical training across the major hospitals in London and did his GP training in southwest London, attaining his RACGP UK in 2018. He moved to Perth in 2019 and further developed his interest in high quality care and evidence-based medicine.
He studies Health Professions Education at UWA and teaches UWA medical students on their GP placements. He also works as a medical educator for the RACGP two days a week, training the next generation of GPs. Tim is committed to a holistic, evidence based, shared decision-making model of health care.
