Dr Ana has worked as a GP since 2000 and joined Perth GP in March 2013. She obtained her medical degree in the Faculty of Medicine of the Oporto's University Portugal and her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her special interests include Paediatrics, women's health including Implanon insertion or removal and general medicine.

Dr Komal Thakkar completed her GP training in UK in 2008 and moved to Perth in 2012. She is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of GP’s. Dr Thakkar holds a Certificate of Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine. She has completed further training towards a Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine. Dr Thakkar offers skin-related consultations and has special interest in Skin cancer prevention, detection and management. She performs full body molescans using high quality Dermlite dermoscope with Dermengine Artificial Intelligence. Dr Komal offers non-surgical treatment options (cryotherapy and topical treatments) for pre-malignant skin lesions.

Dr Bruce Ella joined our team at The Heights in February 2016 bringing with him a wealth of experience as a General Practioner. Dr Ella is passionate about family medicine and the benefits of a long term health partnership. Interests include Child Health, Respiratory Disease, Type 2 diabetes/Complex Care Management.

Dr Fay Meakin joined our team in February 2019 and is an enthusiastic GP who completed her medical training in Sheffield, UK. She has a patient-centred, holistic approach, providing consultations on all aspects of General Practice. Her particular interests include Child Health, Obs and Gynae and Family General Practice.
She has completed a Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health and is competent in insertion and removal of contraceptive devices, such as an implanon and the contraceptive coil. In her spare time Dr Fay enjoys being active and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr Zaw Htet has worked as a GP in Western Australia since February 2013. He o btained Master of Biomedical Science (Infectious Disease) and Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioner from Australia.
His special interests include Children’s Health, Chronic Disease Management, Asthma, Diabetes, Skin Cancer check-ups, Skin Biopsy surgery and Implanon insertion and removal.

Dr Tarun Yamdagni is an accredited Fellow of the Australasian College of GPs. He specialises in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. He is a member of The Skin Cancer College of Australasia and an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor.
Accreditation involves extensive training and continuous professional development to keep abreast with latest advances in the field of skin cancer management.
Dr Yamdagni acquired his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Topiwala National Medical College in 2002. He became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) UK in 2008. He obtained his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2012.
He is passionate about Skin Care Medicine and has completed multiple certificate courses from the Skin Cancer College Australasia including Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine (2014), Certificate of Dermatoscopy (2014), Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy (ACC-D) (2015) and Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery (ACC-SCMS) (2016).
Dr Yamdagni’s vast experience and medical qualifications set him apart as a highly competent GP. He works in close collaboration with the patients to provide the very best care pathway, designed specifically for them.

Dr Gary Mullaley is a local graduate from UWA and has over 20 years of experience in general practice. He has worked at The Heights Medical Centre since 2008 and has extensive experience in diabetes, cardiology and chronic diseases. He enjoys paediatrics, antenatal care and has interest in managing palliative care patients.
Outside interests include being active in his local church, enjoys sport, coaches soccer, plays guitar, and is married with 4 children.
Our Nursing Team
Janine has been working as a registered nurse for 35 years. She trained in Cape Town, South Africa and then went on to work in a large teaching hospital in London for 16 years specialising in chronic disease, kidney transplantation and kidney donation.
Janine moved from London to Perth 11 years ago and has been in General Practice since then. Her passion is diabetes, skin cancer clinics, assisting in skin procedures and chronic wound care. She loves to travel and in her downtime is watching her son play rugby and working in her garden.
Sue has had over 40 years’ experience as a nurse. She specializes in aged care, wound care, manutention coaching, Occupational Health and Safety and as well as childhood immunisations. Nurse Sue has also trained as a palliative link nurse.

Our Allied Health Team
Terry has been a physiotherapist for over 20 years. He has a special interest in treating migraines/headaches, neck and back pain, sporting and mechanical injuries and providing exercise programmes.
He also is a qualified acupuncturist (dry needling) and fits mouldable orthotics.
Lisa has been a podiatrist for over 15 years. Common foot ailments that she manages and treats include heel pain, corns, calluses, warts, ingrown toenails, low or high arch feet, diabetic foot checks and children’s foot conditions.
Vian is an Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about helping people to overcome their challenges and live their best life. Vian believes that exercise is medicine. Vian enjoys all types of sports especially rugby. On the weekend, Vian can be found in the gym, on his jet ski or racing motorbikes.
